The team was represented by 27 swimmers including Sasha Gatt, Victoria Balderacchi, Samuel Camilleri and Russell Grixti.
A big well done goes to a number of athletes as this week, Malta made its mark at the 55th edition of the CIJ Meet held in Luxembourg.
Represented by a team of 27 talented swimmers, under the guidance of National Swimming Coach and Technical Director, Delon Dannhauser, the island showcased its skill in the pool.
The Maltese team celebrated success across various categories, with notable achievements including Sasha Gatt's second-place finish in the 800m Freestyle and another second-place triumph in the 400m Freestyle.
Victoria Balderacchi claimed the top spot in the Open Category for the 200m Backstroke, while Samuel Camilleri secured second place in the 2009/10 Age Group for the 200m Butterfly.
Additionally, Russell Grixti clinched a bronze medal in the 2009/10 Age Group for the 100 Butterfly.
These outstanding athletes hailed from five different clubs, namely Aquahub, Neptunes, Sirens, Sliema, and Southwaves, showcased the depth of talent across Malta's swimming community.
