In a historic first, the Lithuanian Air Force will participate in the Malta International Airshow, marking its debut appearance at the renowned aviation event.

Organisers proudly confirmed that Lithuania will showcase its LET L-410UVP Turbolet aircraft as part of the static display, offering aviation enthusiasts a closer look at one of the Baltic state's key military assets.

Operated by the Transporto Eskadrilė, or Transport Squadron, the LET L-410UVP Turbolet is a twin-engine aircraft known for its versatility and reliability. Used primarily for transport and logistical support, the aircraft plays an essential role in Lithuania’s defence capabilities, providing critical support for troop movement, cargo transport, and mission readiness across a range of conditions.

The inclusion of the Lithuanian Air Force in this year’s lineup not only brings a new aircraft to the airshow but also represents a broader commitment to international cooperation and engagement. As Malta’s premier aviation event continues to grow in prestige and diversity, welcoming Lithuania signals an exciting expansion of global participation.

This debut is also a celebration of growing ties between nations through the shared passion for aviation. Attendees can look forward to learning more about the Lithuanian Air Force, its aircraft, and the vital roles they play in regional and international operations.

With exciting additions like Lithuania’s LET L-410UVP Turbolet, 2025 promises to be a year to remember!
