Blue Bar is back! Owner Charlie Zahra returns to revive the iconic Msida spot
The legend returns!

If you’ve ever been a student at Junior College or spent time in Msida over the past decades, then you’ll no doubt be familiar with Blue Bar – the beloved local hangout that’s become a staple for generations. Stretching across the corner of Triq Oscar Zammit and Triq J. Borg, right across from Junior College, Blue Bar has long been a meeting spot for students and locals alike.

After a brief stint last year as the fourth outlet of NOVI Burger, the iconic bar is now back in the hands of the legendary Charlie Zahra, who originally made Blue Bar a go-to spot in the area. The exciting news was announced through a post on social media earlier today: ‘We are pleased to announce that Blue Bar is back! Open daily except Sundays! Charlie is here too, ready to serve you!’

Along with the announcement, the bar shared its updated menu, which is sure to attract both current Junior College students and alumni eager for a taste of nostalgia.

Did you ever hang out at Blue Bar?
