After being admitted and released from the hospital, Malta’s beloved ALS advocate has released an emotional video sharing his struggles with living with ALS, a motor neuron disease that attacks neurons controlling voluntary muscles.

“Life isn’t easy,” he says. “Everyday is a constant battle to live, knowing that your loved ones are seeing you suffer,” he admits. “Sometimes I feel helpless, but then I remember all those patients who need our help.”

Bjorn then appeals to all locals to tune in to Xarabank on Friday to donate whatever they can towards the second Dar Bjorn. “I’m asking so that on Friday 25th October on Xarabank, you can help me make this dream of mine a reality.”

This video comes after his 13-day hospital stay, after being admitted into hospital and suffering further medical complications. Bjorn was thankfully released from hospital, yesterday.
