Malta’s beloved ALS advocate is officially leaving Mater Dei Hospital after being admitted 13 days ago due to health complications. However, he’s not out of the woods, yet.
“Still in a lot of pain but we are leaving hospital today,” writes Bjorn in his latest post to Facebook, updating followers. He also announced that the “operation is too dangerous and not an option at the moment. We have to keep on waiting and endure this pain. Will be back here in two weeks time.”
Even after facing various medical complications in the past days, he is still campaigning for funds for the new DAR Bjorn project that will help other locals in his same situation. “In the meantime, more time for working on the Newer & Bigger DAR Bjorn project.
The second Dar Bjorn needs funding so, on 25th October on Xarabank a fundraiser is being organised and pledges can also be made beforehand.
