After the exciting announcement of Italian legend Zucchero headlining Day 1 of Għaxaq Music Festival 2025, it's time to reveal who’s bringing the fire to Day 2. Ready for a rhythm-fuelled night of dancing under the stars?

It’s none other than The Gipsy Kings by Diego Baliardo, performing live on Friday 18th July 2025 at the Għaxaq Grounds – and it's going to be unmissable.

With over 20 million albums sold, countless Platinum records, and a Grammy Award under their belt, the Gipsy Kings are true musical royalty. Their genre-defining blend of flamenco, rumba, salsa, and pop made global hits like ‘Bamboleo’, ‘Volare’, ‘Djobi Djoba’, and ‘Baila Me’ household anthems, and their dramatic covers of ‘Hotel California’ and ‘A Mi Manera’ continue to wow crowds everywhere.

This Malta performance is part of their ‘BACK TO THE ORIGINS’ Tour, a high-octane celebration of their 40+ year musical journey, packed with their signature six-guitar arrangements, infectious beats, and pure gypsy soul.

Led by Diego Baliardo, a founding member and torchbearer of this musical dynasty, the Gipsy Kings continue to bring their vibrant sound to legendary venues around the world, from Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Hollywood Bowl to Royal Albert Hall and Carnegie Hall.

There's more to the night than heart-pounding rhythm, flamenco flair, and endless dancing, though! A portion of every ticket sold will be donated to the Embrace Diversity Organisation, which supports children and youths with disabilities. To date, this much-anticipated festival has raised over €200,000 for charitable causes.
