Bjorn Formosa makes a heartfelt appeal after unexpectedly being admitted into hospital
Malta’s well-known ALS advocate is unfortunately back in hospital, and things aren’t looking great. Bjorn Formosa took to Facebook with a heartfelt plea to locals during this difficult time, but it’s not what you may think.
“We're back here at MDH but this time it's BAD,” Bjorn reveals in the post. “Unexpectedly I will have to undergo major surgery and it's always a coin flip of whether I will wake back up or not.”
Being the kind-hearted soul Bjorn is, he had a heartfelt plea for locals. “However, […] we also got the final go ahead for Xarabank for the Newer & Bigger DAR Bjorn! And that is more important than my personal issues,” he remarks.
“XARABANK 25th OCTOBER WE NEED TO RAISE FUNDS TO OPEN THE NEWER & BIGGER DAR BJORN! We are now more motivated than ever to deliver this unique project in Malta to the Maltese people. Please keep us in your prayers so I can come back and continue,” he says, appealing to the public.
In just a few minutes, the post raked in over a thousand reactions and 500 comments of well wishes and courage to the ALS warrior.
