Tallinja has announced a series of route updates set to take effect this Sunday, 18th May, with several new stops and more frequent trips.

These changes are aimed at improving connectivity to key areas such as industrial zones, residential neighbourhoods, and transit hubs, while also responding to public demand for better accessibility and frequency.

Here’s a look at what’s changing:

Route 211 (St Julian’s – Paola)

Now extended to serve Kordin Industrial Estate from Monday to Saturday.

Route 207 (Marsa P&R – Naxxar)

Will now include additional bus stops along the route, improving access for passengers in more locations.

Routes 82B, 205 & 119 (Valletta – Birzebbuga, Birzebbuga – Marsa P&R, Airport – Marsaskala)

Morning trips will now include extra stops in Ħal Far, making it easier for early commuters and workers in the area.

Route X299 (Cirkewwa – Mater Dei)

Will start serving the Xemxija bus stop in both directions and will also operate additional trips, easing travel to and from this popular northern coastal destination.

Route X300 (Valletta – Cirkewwa)

This route will also see an increase in the number of trips, improving service frequency for passengers using this line.

As always, make sure to check the Tallinja app or visit publictransport.com.mt for the latest route maps and schedules.

Do you use any of these routes?
