Today's weather may appear grey, windy and overall dreary, however do not let this fool you for all this is about to change this week!

According to local weather page a historic event may be in the books: "We may be about to witness a historic heatwave, never seen before in the month of May, across Malta and Gozo wih highs ranging from 27°C to 37°C from this coming Tuesday to Saturday as very hot air from Northern Africa penetrates the Central Mediterranean!" read a post by Malta Weather.

While the Airport's seven-day forecast offers a more manageable range between 26°C and 32°C, temperatures are expected to feel as hot as 34°C on some days. Whichever one turns out to be true, we can all agree that Malta is in for one hot week!

With the UV hitting scale 10, wearing high SPF sun cream and protective clothing such as hats and long-sleeved, airy shirts is recommended.

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
