Are you ready to witness the famous Mosta Dome like never before? House of Tours is set to transport history enthusiasts and curious explorers back in time to 1942, a pivotal year during World War II when the Mosta Rotunda in Malta faced an astonishing miracle.
In an extraordinary collaboration with the Mosta Rotunda Foundation, House of Tours is offering "Diary of War: The Miracle of Mosta," a unique and immersive experience. This site-specific tour is a captivating blend of theatre, history, and live music, offering participants a sensory feast and a deep dive into the past.
The Mosta Rotunda, an iconic church, survived a potentially catastrophic event as a bomb pierced its dome but failed to detonate, sparing the lives of approximately 300 people who had sought refuge within its walls.
Led by accredited tour guide and theatre practitioner Jeremy Grech, the tour guides visitors through the underground shelters beneath the Mosta Dome while recounting the events that led to the fateful bombing. The tour is underscored by haunting melodies and cinematic sounds, setting the stage for a memorable and moving journey.
