Victoria International Arts Festival is Malta's longest-running festival of its kind. Taking place over an uninterrupted period of five weeks, all concerts and cultural events are free of charge. This year, world-class violinist Carmine Lauri will headline the 28th edition of the Victoria International Arts Festival. Paganini's Violin Concerto no. 1 and Sibelius's Symphony no. 2 will be performed by the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of VIAF's resident conductor, Philip Walsh. This opening concert will be held at Teatru Astra, on Friday 13 June at 8pm and seat reservation is advised by sending an email.
