It may have only been a few months since the last episode of Maria de Filippi’s Amici aired on Italian television, but there has been a clamouring for more from this neck of the woods. More, particularly, of Maltese participant Emma Muscat and her rapper boyfriend Biondo. And the organisers of Notte Bianca have heeded that call, and have announced a performance by the duo during this year’s edition of the event, which will be taking place on Saturday 6th October in the capital, Valletta.

Multiple musical stages will be set up for the night, which will pay host to musical acts from around the globe. Organised by Teatru Malta’s Sean Buhagiar, Notte Bianca is one of the island’s biggest arts and culture festivals, attended by thousands of people who congregate for a night of shopping, entertainment and storytelling. This year, Emma and Bianco will be hitting the main stage together – a first for the island.

The band Toploader, whose cover song Dancing in the Moonlight hit the UK charts in the year 2000, will also be rocking the night, as will local death metal band Beheaded and iconic Italian singer-songwriter Vinicio Caposella.
