Her latest shoot for Vogue Italia's August 2019 issue includes none other than her own mother, who she shot on our islands as part of her latest photostory, Call Mum. “Born and raised in the town of Birgu in Malta, Anna used to take Stephanie to this iconic café as a child, which had first opened its doors during the British occupation in Malta and remains relatively unchanged to this day,” said Vogue Italia in an Instagram post.

“Photographed in elaborate floral motif designer pieces, this time Stephanie takes her to the café in this unique and personal collaboration (not really knowing what she was getting into) in the hope to capture some of the gentle nature and humble elegance she always saw her mother to possess,” they said. And get this! Anna is an award-winning painter who specialises in watercolours. Guess Stephanie got her artistic side from her mama!
