It’s fashion darling! Model poses at Maltese bocci clubs for Vogue Italia
The photos by Stephanie Galea give off a very vintage vibe.

It’s not everyday that Maltese traditions feature on huge international platforms, ESPECIALLY Vogue Italia! Maltese photographer Stephanie Galea recently shot an amazing shoot  titled Mariane for the famous Italian mag, and we're absolutely loving the results. The shoot gives off a very vintage vibe with stunning dresses, pantsuits and accessories by various designers including local fashion duo Charles & Ron, Jimmy Choo, and Christian Louboutin. #jealous.

And the location chosen by the talented photographer? The humble and ultra-Maltese boċċi club! For those unfamiliar with it, the traditional pastime is closely related to English Bowls and Italian Bocce, with clubs dedicated to the sport found in many villages in Malta and Gozo.

The shoot features shots taken at the Żejtun Boċċi Club, the Paolo Boċċi Club and the Birgu Boċċi Club and Bar, with a number of local players playing the game and interacting with model Sal Taylor of STORM Models.

It seemed like the gents at the clubs were pleased to have the model around, and to have their pictures taken, playing along and taking some goofy snaps too!

Apart from shooting the boċċi game, Stephanie also featured different aspects of the traditional clubs within the shoot. In some shots, Sal sist down with some locals to play cards, is snapped next to the very-full trophy case at the club in another, and even meets up with a local bird-keeper.
