Visitors will get to experience traditional Maltese crafts such as woodworking, stonework, tile laying and restoration
A family-friendly event celebrating traditional Maltese craftsmanship is returning in May for a second edition!
Festa Ħaddiem – Minn Id il-Public Works will take place on Saturday 2nd May and Sunday 3rd May at the Concert Area in Ta’ Qali.
Over two days, visitors will have the opportunity to experience traditional Maltese crafts such as woodworking, stonework, tile laying and restoration, while children will get to participate in creative and educational activities related to these crafts, as well as traditional games.

There will also be spaces dedicated to technology and innovation, including virtual reality experiences related to major infrastructural projects, as well as exhibitions showcasing how the work of the Public Works Department is contributing to a more sustainable environment.
It is a free of charge event, which also includes live musical performances, a variety of games for children of all ages, activities for youths, and a wide selection of food and beverages.
The festival is being organised by the Parliamentary Secretariat for Public Works, together with the Public Works Department.
Parliamentary Secretary for Public Works Omar Farrugia and Head of the Ta’ Qali National Park Unit Jason Micallef extended an open invitation to the public to attend the event.
