Heritage Malta is gearing up for Museums by Candlelight! The Church of the Annunciation and St Dominic, together with the Dominican Priory, will open their doors for a unique cultural experience as part of the upcoming Museums by Candlelight on April 18th.

Set in the historic heart of Birgu, the event invites visitors to explore some of the area’s most treasured sites in a completely different light - quite literally. Illuminated by candlelight, these sacred and historic spaces will offer a serene and atmospheric setting, allowing guests to appreciate their architectural beauty and spiritual heritage in a more intimate way.

The Church of the Annunciation and St Dominic, along with the Dominican Priory, form an important part of Birgu’s rich religious and cultural fabric. Their participation adds a deeper dimension to the evening, blending history, faith, and artistry into a memorable experience.

A single ticket, priced at just €3, provides access to all participating venues. This includes iconic landmarks such as Fort St Angelo, Inquisitor’s Palace, and St Lawrence Church and Museum.
