The Malta U-15 girls’ national team recorded another impressive result, defeating Romania 2-1 to claim their second straight victory in the tournament.
Malta took the lead thanks to a well-taken strike from Keziah Richard, who showed great composure to put her side in front. The momentum continued as Mikaela Vella Aquilina added a second goal, giving Malta a strong 2-0 advantage.
Romania responded with a goal of their own to narrow the gap, but Malta’s resilient defending ensured the scoreline remained in their favour until the final whistle. Mikaela’s performance proved decisive in guiding the team to back-to-back wins.
A proud moment for the squad – well done, girls!
