Summer 2025 is drawing to a close, and what a season it has been! From quirky festa traditions and fishing dogs to dancing nuns, Malta and Gozo have been buzzing with the kind of life only summertime can bring. As we say goodbye to the long, golden days, let’s take a look back at some of the most iconic moments that made this summer one to remember.

1. When festa sky-high drumming was a thing

The Zurrieq festa celebrations were truly some to behold.

2. When Tina the dog learnt how to fish

The little Jack Russell showed off fishing skills that would put most of us to shame!

3. When dancing nuns took over a luzzu

Sister Act at sea! That group of nuns brought all the summer vibes we’ve been craving.

4. When a quick sea clean-up made a big impact

Two minutes, one expat, and a reminder that every small effort counts.

5. When a foodie went ahead and made a pastizzi burrito

We’d honestly try anything made from pastizzi, but this was next level.

Who's already counting down to next summer?
