A video of some bakers from Qormi making traditional Maltese bread has gone viral on Instagram, gathering over half-a-million views.

The clip was filmed at the beloved ‘Paul ta’ Kalc Bakery’ – a must-visit spot for all those who love Maltese bread.

This video was shot and shared by renowned Australian baker Jordan Miller, who visited our islands to learn more about our traditional loaf.

Hobz tal-Malti bread at ‘Paul ta’ Kalc’ in Qormi, Malta. I was very fortunate to stage here for a few days in 2019 to learn the traditional bread of Malta in woodfired ovens,” Jordan wrote on social media.

The clip was thoroughly enjoyed by Jordan’s followers, who took a particular liking to the bakery’s wood-fired oven.

“I can almost smell that from here,” one follower even commented.
