What an honour! Delta Air Lines promotes Malta as a hidden gem for summer travellers
Malta is the place to be this summer!

Delta Air Lines has put Malta in the spotlight, describing the Mediterranean island as one of Europe's hidden treasures and encouraging travellers to add it to their summer holiday plans.

Through a promotional video, the airline showcased several of Malta's most popular attractions, including the Blue Grotto, Tal-Mixta Cave, St Peter's Pool, Marsaxlokk, Golden Bay, the Xwejni Salt Pans and the Blue Lagoon.

The campaign coincides with the launch of Delta's direct service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport and Malta International Airport, which began operating on the 8th of June.

Highlighting Malta's stunning coastline, turquoise waters and rich history, Delta said that anyone who has not yet considered the island as a destination should place it on their travel list.

The airline also emphasised that the new JFK-Malta connection provides American travellers with easier access to the island than ever before.

Do you agree that Malta is one of Europe's best-kept secrets?
