Thursday 25th November: Two COVID-19 patients die as active cases rise to 1,007

The Health Authority’s Facebook page, Sahha, has published today's figures. Malta has registered 83 new cases in the past 24 hours.

The islands have registered 28 recoveries, meaning that the country’s total number of active cases now stands at 1,007.

The post also noted that until yesterday, 24th November, Malta had administered 939,732 vaccine doses. 104,989 of these were booster doses.

Two COVID-19 patients passed away in the past 24 hours; males aged 63 and 76. This brings the country’s virus death toll up to 466.

A total of 13 patients are being treated at Mater Dei Hospital, two of whom are in ITU.
