Outstanding! Malta’s Farsons win big at the ‘Oscars of the brewing industry’

Farsons Beers Cisk Excel and Blue Label have emerged victorious at this year’s International Brewing & Cider Awards, earning prestigious prizes in their respective categories.

Held in Manchester from the 19th to the 21st March, this esteemed event, often dubbed the ‘Oscars of the brewing industry,’ attracts brewers and cidermakers from around the globe.

Farsons Awards

Cisk Excel secured a Bronze award in the International Smallpack Lager Competition Class 1, representing the Lager 2.9% – 4.4% ABV category. Similarly, Farsons Blue Label clinched Bronze in the International Smallpack Ale Competition Class 2, within the Ale 4.5% – 4.9% ABV category.

The rigorous judging process, conducted by a panel of 38 industry experts, ensures each entry is evaluated meticulously for quality and commercial value.

Notably, Blue Label's win marks a historic moment as the first Farsons beer recognised in this esteemed competition since 1952.

Cisk Excel and Farsons Blue Label join a distinguished list of award-winning brews from Simonds Farsons Cisk plc, further solidifying the brewery's reputation for quality and innovation.
