Whether you’re on leave or taking a few hours off to spend time with your loved ones and indulge in a few extra pieces of figolla this Easter Monday, you can always squeeze in some time for a cultural activity!
On the 10th of April, Heritage Malta is opening up ALL their sites and museums to the public, even the ones that are typically closed on Mondays. These include:
• Għar Dalam
• Borġ in-Nadur
• The Inquisitor’s Palace
• The Domvs Romana
• The National Museum of Natural History and the Citadel sites
• The Ġgantija Archaeological Park
• Ta’ Kola Windmill
• St Paul’s Catacombs
• The Ħaġar Qim and Mnajdra Archaeological Park
• MUŻA
• The National Museum of Archaeology
• Fort St Elmo
• Ta’ Ħaġrat & Skorba
• Fort St Angelo and
• The Ħal Tarxien Prehistoric Complex
The usual opening hours apply here, that is between 10:00 hrs and 18:00 for sites that are usually open from Monday to Sunday and between 09:00 hrs and 17:00 hrs for sites that are normally open from Tuesday to Sunday. The Hal Saflieni Hypogeum and Underground Valletta will be open as per usual.
Sites and museums that are currently closed will remain closed on Easter Monday as well.
