This morning, an earthquake in southern Greece was reportedly felt in parts of Malta and Gozo. The earthquake, which struck at 9.30am (Malta time) measured at a 5.0 on the Richter scale and was located 49km from Hydra.
A man in Xlendi told Times of Malta that his desk and computer started shaking, while a St Paul’s Bay resident noted that he indeed felt a tremor. “I felt it. Very slight swaying of chair, hardly perceptible but definitely there.”
