The vibrant world of watercolours will be coming alive at Palazzo de La Salle in Valletta with the upcoming collective art exhibition, 'NUCLEUS', set to open on the 11th of January.

Coordinated by Caroline Miggiani, this showcase features the unique watercolour artworks of six accomplished local artists—Jeni Caruana, Debbie Caruana Dingli, Anna Galea, Anna Grima, Tonio Mallia, and Kenneth Żammit Tabona.

Each artist brings a distinct style and background to 'NUCLEUS,' collectively aiming to spotlight and foster an appreciation for the watercolour medium, particularly among younger artists.

Jeni Caruana's emotive series captures motion and time, while Debbie Caruana Dingli's work reflects her unique perspective on human interaction. Anna Galea, known for her large still life and abstract paintings, exhibits complexity and vitality in her creations.

Anna Grima explores form and colour in her figurative art, and Tonio Mallia pushes boundaries with decades of watercolour experience. Kenneth Żammit Tabona, a music and art enthusiast, infuses his work with strong hues and unique shapes.

'NUCLEUS' promises a diverse and interesting experience, showcasing the versatility of watercolours. The exhibition will run at Palazzo de La Salle until the 1st of February, welcoming visitors on weekdays from 9 am to 7 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 1 pm.
