After last night’s incident, here’s a reminder on how you can protect the turtle nest at Ghadira Bay
Yesterday evening, it was reported that two men ran into the turtle nest that is currently being guarded at Ghadira Bay. According to a Nature Trust spokesperson, the men ran into the outer fencing while drunk (and also behaved aggressively), but thankfully not the inner one. The turtle eggs are believed to be safe but Nature Trust told us, "We can only assess if any damage was done after hatching is over." The men have since been arrested.
