Ragusa awaits! New summer schedule brings more ferry options from Valletta

Sun, sea, and spontaneous Sicilian getaways just got a whole lot easier! Starting Sunday 29th June, the Ragusa Xpress is launching its expanded summer schedule, adding extra weekly crossings between Valletta and Ragusa to give travellers more flexibility and adventure options through the peak season.

Running until 14th September, the new schedule includes double trips on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, alongside the regular service. Whether you're planning a relaxing weekend break or a quick cross-border getaway for the day, there’s now more time to explore both sides of the Mediterranean.

Here’s the new summer schedule at a glance:

  • Morning departure from Valletta at 6:00AM (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun) – Arriving in Ragusa for a full day of sightseeing, cuisine, and shopping.
  • Evening return from Ragusa at 9:30PM (Mon, Wed, Fri, Sat, Sun) – ideal for soaking in the Sicilian sunset.
  • Extra crossings (Mon, Fri, Sun):
    • Morning trip from Ragusa at 10:30AM, arriving in Valletta at 12:30PM
    • Afternoon trip from Valletta at 5:00PM, perfect for an evening arrival in Sicily
