Did you feel that? Tremors were felt in Malta after another earthquake hit Europe, this time in Crete. “A 6.0 MAG earthquake off Crete was also felt across the Maltese Islands moments ago,” local weather page Maltese Islands Weather announced.
Reportedly, no damage has been logged on the Maltese Islands. The tremor we felt is believed to have been an effect of the earthquake that struck in Crete, while another one was felt in Albania on Tuesday. The Seismic Research Group at the University of Malta indeed reported a tremor in Xlendi. Sources tell us that in the Rabat, Siggiewi and Dingli areas, "everything was shaking."
It has been a devastating week for certain parts of Europe as places like Albania, Turkey, the Balkan Region, and Greece have experienced some kind of tremor or earthquake. Albania is probably the most affected country with other European regions stepping in to help.
