Pop icon Ricky Martin made a surprise visit to Malta recently, and he’s officially obsessed! The global superstar arrived on the island aboard a Ritz-Carlton luxury yacht, part of an A-list celebrity cruise, and wasted no time soaking up the island’s rays and charm.

From the narrow streets of Mdina to the cliffs of Dingli, and a refreshing swim at Għar Lapsi, Ricky seemed to make the most of his short time in Malta, even taking a moment to admire the Parish Church of Siġġiewi. And judging by his post social media, he was totally captivated.

‘¡Malta, you fine little island, you! Disembarked, got sun-kissed, over-caffeinated, fed like royalty, and flirted with the idea of never leaving,’ he wrote. ‘The people? Warm. The food? Dangerous. The Maltese coffee? Maltese magic in a cup. Yeah, I’m coming back soon. Malta, Grazzi ħafna.’

Naturally, the comment section was flooded with love from both Maltese fans and global followers, recommending all the places he should visit next time he’s on the island.

Did you spot Ricky enjoying the island?
