Well done! Malta makes history playing for the first time ever in European Beach Handball Championships
The Maltese Men's Beach Handball team made a remarkable debut at the European Handball Federation Beach Handball Championships in Varna, Bulgaria, held from July 11th to 14th.
Competing in Group B, Malta faced off against Bulgaria, France, Czechia, and Norway. Advancing to the Consolidation Round, they played against Italy, Czechia, and Türkiye.
In their inaugural international competition, Malta achieved an impressive 10th place overall. Liam Harrison and Mauro Camilleri Darmanin stood out as the team's top scorers, each scoring 25 goals.
