Baritone Charles Buttigieg has been living in the US for the past few years where he has been studying opera at the Curtis Institute of Music. A protégé of Joseph Calleja, Malta's most famous international tenor, he has recently flown back to Malta and due to the recent implementation of a new health directive, is now carrying out a 14-day quarantine.

Taking to Facebook to share his experience with his followers, Charles explained that although he'll be living in complete isolation for the next fortnight, he plans to use the time he has to study and sing. "I returned from America yesterday and I'll be living in Ghasri, Gozo, completely alone to prevent contact with others," he says. Positive in attitude, he also urged the public to follow health directives and take the necessary precautions: "I would like to advise others to take care and not be in close proximity to people for the time being."

When she’s not having a quarter-life crisis, Caroline is either drawing in a café, frittering her salary on sushi or swearing at traffic in full-on Gozitan. There is also the occasional daytime drink somewhere in the equation. Or two. A creative must be allowed at least one vice.
