Force Six winds are expected to hit Malta on Saturday.

Colder weather is finally expected to hit the Maltese islands, with strong winds and showers forecast for next Saturday.

In light of this, Virtu Ferries – the catamaran service provider between Malta and Pozzallo, Sicily – has just taken to social media of a slight change of schedule.

On Saturday 5th November, the Virtu Ferries catamaran will now be departing at 8:30am, instead of 8:30pm, as previously scheduled.

The day’s 5am Malta-Pozzallo trip has remained unchanged.

This change comes as no surprise, with the Malta International Airport’s meteorological office forecasting Force Six winds for Saturday.
