Vegans assemble! Malta’s first VeganFest to be held at Ta’ Qali next weekend
VeganFest will be a celebration of vegan food, wellness, and eco-friendly living

Francesca Vella

A festival celebrating everything that is vegan will be held for the first time ever in Malta, on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June from 11am to 7pm at Oak Tree Circle, Ta' Qali National Park. Entrance is free, and all are encouraged to join for the wide range of experiences related not only to vegan food, but also to general wellness and eco-friendly living.

The food court will undoubtedly be one of the main areas of attraction, providing various vegan goodies from establishments across the island.

The event promises to enrich the mind as well as the body, with a whole schedule of expert-led talks and workshops centred around living healthily and happily.

A vegan eco market will also be set up, for anyone who would like some eco-conscious supplies for personal care, sustainable fashion, art and home decor.

Children are also more than welcome to this event: they will be kept busy with activities including upcycling workshops and craft sessions. All ages will be kept entertained by the live music ongoing at the event by local musicians hailing from X Factor Malta, Malta’s Got Talent and Mużika Mużika. Even pets are encouraged to join and visit the Pet Corner, for pet-related food, products and accessories.

Those hoping for some quiet time can engage with free activities in the Wellness Area, such as yoga and meditation, or retire to the Chillout Zone to unwind.

Will you be joining for Malta’s first ever VeganFest?

11th June 2024
