Health authorities just issued the update.
Malta has addded another country to its amber list that imposes restrictions on travel to the islands. Coming into effect on Friday 11th September at midnight, the following countries are officially on the list:
1. Spain (Madrid, Barcelona and Girona airport)
2. Romania
3. Czech Republic
4. Tunisia
5. France (all Paris aiports, Marseille)
Since the last revision on 2nd September, France has also been added to the list. This means that any traveller arriving in Malta from any of the above countries must present a negative PCR COVID-19 test peformed up to 72 hours in advance. If travellers fail to produce a test they may be submitted to testing and quarantine in Malta, health authorities noted.
