Maltese authorities have revised Malta’s amber travel list that imposes restrictions on travel to the islands.
Coming into effect from Friday 4th September at midnight, the following countries are officially on the list:
1. Czech Republic
2. Romania
3. Spain - Barcelona, Girona, Madrid
4. Tunisia
Bulgaria was previously included in Malta's Amber list.
Travellers coming from the above destinations will have to present a certificate showing a negative test result of a Polymerase Chain Reaction test that would have been carried out not more than 72 hours in advance. Those who do not present this will have to undergo testing at the airport and may be asked to quarantine.
