If you stepped into a time machine and hit ‘Malta 1988’, this is one of the scenes it will take you to! These awesome throwback photos were shared to a popular group containing people from different corners of the world.

“Malta arrival and departure 1988 Air Malta,” the Facebook user who shared these shots said. The collection includes various photos of the older planes of the national airline, as well as the interior parts and cabin crew service.

Since 1988, Air Malta have revamped their planes and branding, with the bright red colours and white eight-pointed Maltese cross being a prominent feature on the plane’s tail. You can easily spot an Air Malta plan in the sky with those bright colours!
