Wied Inċita, located on the outskirts between Ħ’Attard and Ħaż-Żebbuġ, has recently been transformed into a safer and more accessible area, offering stunning views and a welcoming space for the community.
As part of the upgrade, 750 trees and hundreds of new shrubs were planted, all equipped with a modern irrigation system to ensure proper watering even during the hot summer months. The project also included the removal of 370 tonnes of waste and other debris, as well as the restoration of the stone walls that line the valley.
New amenities have been added to enhance the visitor experience. Several picnic benches and two gazebos were installed, and the main pathways were rebuilt to improve safety for all users.
These pathways are designed to allow rainwater to flow through while supporting the healthy growth of surrounding vegetation, combining practicality with environmental care.
