Malta has a new rising star, and she's competing on Britain’s Got Talent! Meet Giorgia Borg, the up-and-coming 10-year-old (yes, 10!) singer with one of the most powerful voices ever!

Who is Giorgia?

Giorgia isn't your ordinary 10-year-old! Her strong, mature voice that has taken her places, and continues doing so.

She joined La Voix School of Performing Arts in 2013 and is coached by Gillian Attard herself, participating in various local festivals.

Her achievements

This girl has competed in so many competitions, it sounds like she was literally born to sing! She first competed for Sky Italia’s Una Stella Sta Nascendo in early 2015 where she won her section as well as the Best Junior Talent award.

She also competed in Misraħ il-Milied (2015) where she placed 2^nd, Northern Lights Festival in Finland (2016) where she placed 1^st, and Thank You For The Music in Sweden (2016) also taking home the first place trophy in her section as well as the Junior Grand Prix award.

Hold on, I’m just getting started here. Giorgia competed in Sanremo Junior in April 2017, placing first in her section. She was also awarded the Young Jury Award on the night. In May 2017, she competed in Sanremo Junior World Finals where she performed at the Ariston Theatre with the Sanremo Symphonic Orchestra, won first place in her section as well as the Student Votes. I mean, come on. This kid is 10 years old and has already raked in so many awards! We can only imagine what’s in store!

And now… BGT!

It was revealed in a Facebook post that the young starlet will be competing in the next season of Britain’s Got Talent. While the official video hasn’t been published yet, our sources say she slayed her audition!

In a comment on her latest Facebook post, she thanked her fans for the support and well wishes. “This has been my dream for many years & finally my parents decided to apply,” and got to the audition rounds. “BGT will start around mid-April, so make sure you watch to find out if I make it through!” she excitedly says.

Malta will definitely be rooting for you, Giorgia!
