Dick’s Bar was a swinging spot back in the day, a popular hang-out for drinks, and for its delish pizza dubbed as the best in the world – the place even had a sign out front to prove it. And while it closed down some years back, we still kind of wish it hadn't.

These throwback photos of Dick’s Bar not only show the long-gone establishment, but just how much St Julian’s has changed as a whole. Dick’s Bar was situated on the corner of St George’s Road on the hill leading up towards the party town of Paceville.

The bar was described as a genuine local place back in its heyday, serving up some of the best dishes at fab prices, with friendly service guaranteed.

Since its closing, Dick’s Bar has been replaced by Zen Sushi. We will forever miss Dickie’s (as many people used to call it) for a fab night out on the town with mates.
