All 10 lanes are now back open.

A tragic traffic accident on Marsa’s Aldo Moro Road yesterday resulted in the premature death of 28-year-old Nepalese food delivery driver Ajay Shrestha.

The accident, which saw a huge truck topple over, caused damage to the road’s barriers and countless traffic jams all over the country.

Earlier today, Infrastructure Malta took to social media to announce that, thanks to its hardworking employees who stayed up all night “replacing the steel crash barriers,” all ten lanes are now open.

Dozens of readers took to the post’s comments section to thank the hardworking employees.

Rest in peace, Ajay!
