A total of 13 localities around Malta and Gozo will be undergoing planned power cuts this week.

Enemalta, our local electricity provider, has fortunately published a list of localities that are set to experience planned maintenance works throughout the week.

However, this does not mean that the whole locality will undergo a power cut as only select streets from the following localities will be affected.

These maintenance works are carried out regularly to ensure that the national electricity grid operates safely. 

Wednesday, 11th January:

Hal Ghaxaq from 7:30am to 1:30pm

Haz Zabbar from 7:30am to 10:30am

Birzebbuga from 8:30am to 11:45am

Mosta from 8:30am to 11:59am

Hal Kirkop from 8am to 12pm

Ghajnsielem from 8:30am to 2:30pm

Swieqi from 7am to 11:45am

Thursday, 12th January:

Ghajnsielem from 8:30am to 2:30pm

Mosta from 8:30am to 3:30pm

Haz-Zabbar from 10:30pm to 3am

Paola from 8am to 1pm

Birkirkara from 10pm to 6am

Friday, 13th January:

Siggiewi from 8am to 12pm

Saturday, 14th January:

No power cuts scheduled.

Sunday, 15th January:

Mosta 6:30am to 8:30am and 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Msida 7:30am to 1pm

Hamrun from 1pm to 5pm
