Getting to and from the North of Malta might prove to be a bit tricky for the next couple of weeks…

Local transport authority Transport Malta took to social media to warn motorists that from today, the northbound carriageway of Triq Dawret San Pawl – better known as the St Paul’s Bay bypass – “will be open with one lane in each direction”.

This, Transport Malta said, is in light of maintenance and resurfacing works taking place in the area, set to last for the next five weeks.

“Plan ahead when using this route. Thank you for your cooperation,” the transport authority concluded.

Coincidentally, the northbound carriageway of this very same road was also fully closed just last night, between 7pm and 5am.

Send this to someone who frequents the area.
