The highly anticipated 13th edition of Rockestra has finally been announced.

This year’s concert will be held on 10th September at Ta’ Qali and has been given the theme of ‘I love rock ‘n’ roll’.

Rockestra's talented artistic director, Pawlu Borg Bonaci explained that this year’s Rockestra will be ‘very special’ and ‘different’ from all previous editions – mainly because it will be held at MFCC’s outdoor area and will also have a standing audience.

Apart from that, the entertainment will continue after the concert as attendees will also have the option of buying food and drinks.

Rockestra's musical director Sigmund Mifsud, expressed his appreciation towards the great team voluntarily working on Rockestra, which will be raising funds for The Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation.

The President of Malta, George Vella was also in attendance during the announcement at Verdala Palace, whereby he explained that the event is a reflection of everyone coming together to help those in need.

He then went on to thank everyone involved in the organisation of this concert and augured its success.

Among the singers taking part in this year's edition are Kevin Paul, Moira Stafrace, Drakard, Ira Losco and Jotham.
