Jet2.com and Jet2holidays have just launched their inaugural flight to Malta from Edinburgh Airport, commencing the start of an exciting new chapter for summer travels.

This milestone not only signifies the commencement of a remarkable journey with two industry giants but also opens up new possibilities for travellers, with flights and holiday packages between Edinburgh and Malta on offer until the 30th of October 2024.

Every Wednesday, travellers from the region can now jet off to Malta, and perhaps even venture to the enchanting island of Gozo.

For vacationers from Scotland, this new route promises a world of experiences as they travel into Malta's storied past, explore its picturesque towns, and wander through its charming villages.

The decision to introduce this route was driven by the fervent demand from local customers and independent travel agents seeking new vacation venues for Summer 24.

And for those heading to Gozo, prepare for an adventure through the ages, where ancient architecture, pristine beaches, and crystalline lagoons await, promising an unforgettable getaway.

Moreover, Maltese locals now also have the chance to discover Edinburgh's rich culture and attractions, adding an exciting dimension to their travel options.
