According to Interesting Engineering, different rock structures, particularly Malta’s temples have had healing qualities all this time. Who’d have thunk?! These structures resonate a particular frequency of 111hz, a number that might mean zilch to many of us but is important in the medical world. We’ll get to that in a second.

While conducting studies, arcaeo-acoustician and professor at Cambridge, Paul Devereux found frequency resonances of the sort at burial cairns. Testing done at Malta’s Hypogeum (one of the world’s oldest standing structures) indicates that the sounds within its Oracle Chamber match this resonance pattern that Devereux discovered.

According to Interesting Engineering, through his discovery, Devreux “realized the beliefs which are based on a divine sound and divine frequency principle, meet in the same point.” So, this frequency was a direct line to the gods and to a trance state? Hmm…
