Wildlife Rescue Team Malta have successfully rescued an injured turtle from Marsalforn, Gozo.

A passerby spotted and noticed that it might be in danger and injured and called the relevant authorities.

Scuba divers in the area soon came in and managed to capture the turtle and bring it on land.

It was here that Wildlife Rescue Team and Nature Gozo arrived to take in the turtle and give it all the necessary treatment. In fact, the poor creature has now been taken to the recently opened Xrobb L-Ghagin Nature Park and Wildlife Rehab Centre.

The turtle was injured as it was hit by a propeller that directly hit its carapace.

Volunteers named the turtle 200 Bar.

Get well soon!
