Dan Snow will join Maltese historians in discussing some of Malta’s most remarkable treasures
Renowned British-Canadian historian and presenter Dan Snow will be in Malta next week for a live podcast about Maltese treasures.
Mr Snow is the founder of History Hit, a history media network, and focused on everything from Medieval Britain to World War Two.
On Wednesday 24th June, he will join Maltese historians Liam Gauci, Prof. Manuel Buttigieg, and Keith Gatt for a unique live event at The Phoenicia Ballroom where some of Malta’s most remarkable treasures will take centre stage.
The artefacts include prehistoric obsidian and Phoenician amphorae recovered from the depths of the Mediterranean, the legendary Tyger privateer goblet, an Order of St John blunderbuss, French Admiral Denis Decres’ presentation sword, and the iconic George Cross.
The panel will use these objects to illuminate some of the most defining moments of Maltese history.
Tickets have unfortunately already sold out, but Heritage Malta – who is organising the event – is ready to add people to a waiting list.
