The Gozo Cultural Heritage Directorate is bringing the Gozo Film festival to life for a three-day weekend spectacular between the 21st and 23rd of August.

The festival will showcase the work of both Gozitan and Maltese filmmakers together with international ones.

Those who visit will get the chance to see many different movies spanning a set of different genres, varying from short films to feature films.

The festival unfolds against the stunning backdrop of the Gozo Citadel's historic bastions, at the very heart of the island's capital.

Expect a rich mix of indoor and outdoor events featuring acclaimed local and international short films and features, all sharing a connection to the Maltese islands - alongside hands-on workshops for kids, teens and adults.
