Isle of MTV Malta 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest music events of the summer, with MTV announcing that internationally acclaimed DJ and producer Afrojack has joined this year’s lineup. The award-winning dance music star will perform alongside global pop icon Katy Perry at Il-Fosos Square in Floriana on Wednesday 22nd July.

Organised in partnership with the Malta Tourism Authority, Isle of MTV Malta has become one of the island’s most anticipated annual events, attracting tens of thousands of music fans from Malta and around the world. Now entering its 18th edition, the festival continues its tradition of bringing world-class entertainment to the heart of the Mediterranean.

Afrojack remains one of the most influential names in electronic dance music. Since breaking through with his multi-platinum hit ‘Take Over Control,’ he has collaborated with some of the biggest artists in the industry and performed at major festivals across the globe. His latest release, ‘Awake Tonight,’ featuring Sia and David Guetta, is currently making waves on dance floors worldwide.

Adding local talent to the international lineup is Maltese pop sensation AIDAN. The singer, who holds the record for the most national No. 1 singles in Malta, recently released his Elvis-inspired glam-pop-rock album, Cowboys Don’t Cry, and represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026.

The celebrations will continue after the main event, with Afrojack performing a special KAPUCHON set at the Official Isle of MTV After Party at Gianpula Village.

Additional Maltese performers and DJs are expected to be announced in the coming weeks. Tickets for Isle of MTV Malta and Malta Music Week are available now at isleofmtv.com.

The concert will also be broadcast across MTV’s international networks in September 2026.
