Teatru Manoel has unveiled its cultural programme for the 2025–2026 season, featuring over 50 productions that promise a rich variety of performances. Highlights include Verdi’s opera Falstaff, the musical Amelie, and Maltese-language productions such as the Francis Ebejer Award-winning play Sofie.

Audiences can also look forward to original TOI TOI productions, including George Orwell’s classic 1984 and the concert Movie Magic, alongside the beloved Christmas pantomime.

This season also marks the debut of the De Valette Chamber Orchestra, led by Mro. Carmine Lauri, further enriching Manoel’s artistic offering.

Artistic Director Adrian Mamo noted that the season provides a platform for numerous artistic entities, including the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, ŻfinMalta, TeatruMalta, and private companies such as Masquerade Theatre Company and Moveo Dance Company, as well as collaborations with festivals like the Valletta Baroque Festival, Malta Spring Festival, and International Arts Festival. International artists from Italy, France, and Greece will also feature.

TOI TOI Manager Kate Fenech Field highlighted the theatre’s 15th anniversary, showcasing productions that blend puppetry, music, and movement for educational and entertaining experiences, including adventures with penguins for toddlers and NextGen stand-up projects.

The season offers something for everyone, including operas, concerts, musicals, and Maltese-language dramas, keeping Malta’s cherished language and culture alive on stage – so if a seat in the audience is one of the places you love to be, take a look at the programme!
